The Osceola Council on Aging, Inc. is a non-profit, 501 (c) 3 organization and operates under a volunteer Board of Directors. The services are intergenerational, helping people of all ages.

A free health clinic for those 18 and older without health insurance is just one of the services of the Council. It maintains a 'safety net' under the low income of Osceola County. Many low paying jobs offer no health benefits, so losing time from work affects the entire household.

Alberta Webster relies on the Council to help with food and home repairs as she cares for her three grandchildren. A stroke five years ago has complicated her care, but her determination along with the Council's support sees her through the most difficult times.
